Abstract The fine-tuning of the universe for life, idea that constants nature (or ratios between them) must belong to very small intervals in order life exist, has been debated by scientists several decades. Several criticisms have emerged concerning probabilistic measurement life-permitting intervals. Herein, a Bayesian statistical approach is used assign an upper bound probability tuning, which invariant with respect change physical units, and under certain assumptions it whenever interval on relative scale. computation tuning achieved first assuming prior chosen principle maximum entropy (MaxEnt). unknown parameters this MaxEnt distribution are then handled such way weak anthropic not violated. assumption “maximally noncommittal regard missing information.” This sufficiently general be applied current cosmological models, or other possibly different models. Application model reveals, example, ratio universal gravitational constant square Hubble finely tuned some cases, whereas amplitude primordial fluctuations not.
